Valleyfair Sketches

With another season starting out at ValleyFair, I figured I could post a couple recent sketches. I did the first couple out at the park, and the last sketch of representative Paul Ryan after a long day at work. I disagree with many of Paul Ryan's ideologies, and this frustrates me because he genuinely looks like such a nice guy. Anyway, I had some fun while sketching him.

Trump is the antithesis of anything that resembles America or progress.

An elephant can forget.

Obama and pretty much the whole democratic party seem to be doing a splendid job at rolling over for the republican led House. I wasn't sure about this cartoon. My original intentions were to actually bash Obama. Once I drew this one however, I liked the gag even though the Tea Partier takes a lot of the heat off Obama. If the left continues to limp-wrist their way through policy making, I'm sure I'll have many more opportunities to take a stab at Obama. Hmmm, Medicare and Meicaid... I think I'll be able to come up with something.

Scott Goliath

Here's a recent poster illustration I did of our beloved governor. I gotta tell ya, I like him less and less each day.

Passive Aggressive Obama?

In terms of politics, I think Obama is smart to tread carefully in his minimal involvement in Wisconsin's budget legislation. If unions do lose their collective bargaining rights in the next week or two (and signs are pointing in that direction) Obama will save a little dignity. However, with each new controversy, Obama has been losing ground on a lot of things he campaigned on. In the process of saving face with the public, Obama is losing his identity and weakening the left as a whole. That, it would seem, is bad for everybody.
